Gilberto Tavares Ph.D.

Dr. Tavares-Velasco graduated as a bachelor of science degree in engineering physics at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, with a final project on numerical solutions to Navier-Stokes equations by the finite element method. He then went on to pursue a Ph. D at the Physics Department of Cinvestav IPN under the advice of  Dr.

Alfonso Rosado Ph.D.

Alfonso Rosado Sánchez obtained a degree in Physics in the Faculty of Cs. Physical-Mathematics of the BUAP. He did postgraduate studies in the Physics Department of the Cinvestav-IPN (M. en C .: 1981 and D. en C .: 1984). He did a postdoctoral stay from April 1985 to March 1987, at the Physikalisches Institut der Universität Würzburg, Germany. He worked as Professor-Researcher from March 1987 to February 1991 in the Physics Department of CINVESTAV-IPN. Since March 1, 1991, he is Professor-Researcher, at the Institute of Physics of the BUAP.

J. Lorenzo Diaz Cruz Ph.D. (Principal Investigator)

Prof. Díaz Cruz has a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of Michigan (1989); he also holds a M.SC degree from CINVESTAV-IPN (México) and Undergraduate degree from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (México). After a postdoctoral position at Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (1990-1992), he returned to México for a research position at the Physics Department of CINVESTAV-IPN (México). Currently, he has a permanent position as “Profesor-Investigador Titular C” at Benemerita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (México).
